Your key fob is on the keyring we give you. At the street door, hold the fob flat against the entry panel, just under the keypad. There's no code to type and nothing to press first.
The street door is the only one you need the fob for. No courtyard gate, no second door.
Keep the fob with you whenever you go out. It's how you get back in.
Finding the door
The apartment is on the 2ème étage, gauche. In France the ground floor is floor 0, so go up two full flights of stairs. On the 2nd floor, turn right; the door is on the left.

Getting around
From CDG: your best bet is an Uber or a taxi. Taxis charge one fixed rate of 65 € from the airport to the apartment, no meter surprises.
The RER B doesn't always run direct anymore; you may have to change at Gare du Nord. Only take it if you've checked it's running through to Saint-Michel Notre-Dame.
Heads up: the RER and the Saint-Michel metro station are both under construction. Check they're running before you rely on them.
Saint-Michel (ligne 4) is the closest metro; sortie 4 is nearest the apartment. Odéon (lignes 4 and 10): take the 10 to La Motte-Picquet Grenelle for the Eiffel Tower. RER C from Saint-Michel Notre-Dame goes directly to Versailles. Châtelet is a ten-minute walk across the bridge.
